New Jersey Bride is a division of New Jersey Monthly – one of the largest publications in the local bridal industry. They asked us to launch a new site with expanded functionality and different sales approach to grow their business.
The goal? Turn their magazine into an interactive site filled with vendors, services, and opportunities for brides (and grooms) to find their perfect match!
Some of the core features include custom user account management, robust search filters, vendor management and messaging tools for users along with HubSpot integration. Vendors can also easily promote their brands via the 3rd-party ad distribution platform, Broadstreet.
The New Jersey Bride custom WordPress CMS-based site allows their team to easily update and manage content. Integrated third-party analytic and marketing software plugins like HubSpot lets NJB track buyer behaviors so vendors can get deeper insights into what motivates users…and a better ROI.
Other pro-vendor features include easy logins, reservations, and rental features, plus functionality that allows brides to browse and send messages to vendors. NJB now has a scalable and manageable CMS for their internal team as well as paid vendors.
The shift to direct sales meant New Jersey Bride needed options that allowed for various types ad listings for different vendors. With the new site, vendor members have the option to subscribe to a premium service that gives them a top spot on search lists. For brides with lots of decisions to make, quality imagery is everything.
The high-end site design is image-centric, which, when combined with the sophisticated functionality, takes the stress out of bridal shopping and encourages more sales. It was imperative that the site features work in harmony to address the needs of vendors and brides.
